As a kid I always kind of was the wild one that liked to climb rocks and trees to get myself into the trouble that scares any mom. Action sports came to me so much quicker than any traditional sport. When I just ran with the fact that I was never going to be any good at traditional sports I grew to love so many more hobbies.
If you don’t have any adventure in your life what do you have
This is a great motto to live by. Moving to southern Utah I found my love of rock climbing just as I had when I was a kid. Now with a little more cash I could climb and get into other hobbies like downhill mountain biking, incredible hikes and other adventures. Growing up and working sometimes throws you into a schedule, but I’m happy to be a weekend warrior and get in the most adventure I can.

Experience true fear while doing something you love really teaches you to understand yourself. Developing a personal willingness to strive for something bigger then yourself is incredible. When I’ve had experiences when I thought knew could be major consequences I always look back and felt that they were the most incredible times of my life. The times I have feared for my life at sea or on a cliff really built my appreciation of life. There is really nothing better then being able to talk yourself into that big drop, hard moves or sketchy hikes that push your to the limit.
